Yes - A visa is required for travel to Yemen

A valid passport and missionary visa are required for travel to Yemen. The Embassy of Yemen has suspended the issuance of visas. Please contact the embassy directly.


Passport Requirements:

Original passport and one photocopy of information page. The passport must be signed, valid for 6 months beyond stay in Yemen, with at least two blank passport pages available for Yemen visa stamp. Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for Yemen visas.


Yemen Visa Application Form:

Two signed Yemen visa application forms. After placing your order, fill out the application forms included in your Visa Application Kit.


Photo Requirements:

Two recent 2 x 2 passport type photographs, in color, front view and with a plain/white background.


Letter Of Invitation:

A letter of invitation from the host organization or sponsor in Yemen explaining the relationship to the applicant and the purpose of travel to Yemen. In addition, the letter must indicate the length of stay, place of stay, and host’s name and contact information.


Medical Requirements:

Health Certificate (Medical Record or doctor's letter) confirming the absence of any contagious diseases.
